65 years ago, James lived in Qingdao.Then he was only 5 years old.Heoften visited the Aquarium and was fascinated by a creature on display there,which he thought was a dragon.He was afraid of its sharp teeth and wanted oneto keep as a treasure.

In the late 1930s, when the Japanese occupied Qingdao, his family had toleave.On his last day in Qingdao, he ran to the Aquarium and pulled out one ofthe teeth from the dragon’s mouth.

He kept the tooth for the next 65 years, but the feeling of guilt at havingstolen it was there in the background all through his life.It was always on hisconscience, and the feeling intensified as he became older.Finally he decidedto put right his childish error.In 2002, he visited Qingdao and returned it tothe Aquarium with his sincere apologies.He received a warm welcome.

When James visited Qingdao, I accompanied him all the time and reported onhis visit.I was deeply touched by his honesty.It has taught me a lot.I thinkto err is human.The important thing is to have the courage to admit and correctone’s error.

对于在座的大家，很多人不觉得读书是多么困难的事，其实对我来说，求学之路并不容易。此时此刻，我想给大家分享一个关于我的故事，记得是在我虚岁八岁的时候，到了上学前班的年龄，那个时候农村还没有幼儿园，同龄的小朋友都去上学了，而我没有。那个时候爸爸还是个民办教师，工资很低，家里的几个姐姐都在上学，支付不起那么多学费，所以爸爸让我晚一年上学。可是看着别的同龄小朋友都去上学了，姐姐们也去上学了，我急了。爸爸每天离开家去学校，我就偷偷的跟在他后面，后来他也很无奈，索性就每日带着我，他给了我一本一年级的旧教材，这是我人生当中第一次接触到的书，从此，我成了我爸爸的小跟班，去不同的年级、不同的教室蹭课，当然，我是乐此不疲的！有了这样的经历，决定了我对书的嗜好，我觉得有书读是多么幸福的一件事呀。只因为有这样的生活不易，我现在更加懂得读书的意义。

我和我老公都是爱读书的人，以30开头的我们，比以前更爱读书，并且偏爱纸质书，喜欢那种翻书的感觉。我们选择读自己喜爱的书、自己想读的书、自己愿读的书。每年我们都会额外拿出一部分钱来买书，很多人双十一买衣服，而我买的是书，去年双十一我给家里买了800多块的书，其中包括不仅有大人喜欢的书籍，还包含几百块的儿童读物。我和老公喜欢读书，所以家里孩子也喜欢读书。新家装修，为了营造一个良好的读书氛围，除了书房外，我将客厅的电视墙打造成整面墙的书柜，这样，家里到处都能看到书。一个满是书香的环境，孩子阅读犹如吃饭一样正常，孩子很容易就可以看到书，也便于孩子随时翻阅。有了这样的一个读书环境，我打算给孩子举办小小读书会，邀请孩子的朋友来家，让孩子和小伙伴们一起读书，一起探讨书中的人物，这样的读书会对于孩子们的成长非常有益。我们家将会成为小朋友们的小小“图书馆”。

既然说到了心理学，我真的很想给大家推荐两类心理学的书，一类是发展心理学，讲述的是我们人不同年龄段的心理状态是怎样的，学习了这个，我们就不会焦虑我们的孩子、其他家人和我们自己在各个年龄段的困惑了，另一类是社会心理学，这一类讲述的是我们个体和群体在社会相互作用中的心理和行为发生及变化规律。我们个体是生活在这个社会里的，我们和客户之间交流，和同事之间交往，和家人之间的相处，都需要社会心理学的知识，所以我们有必要了解这一类知识。

简而言之，这大概是“用读书所得去工作”吧。

“用生活所感去读书，用读书所得去工作”，我想，对生活、对工作、对读书都是特别有心且用心的人吧，有文字相伴，对生活和工作会有更丰富的想法和更好的态度。

同学们，我们从哪里来？听到这个问题，大家肯定都会说，是父母把我们带到世界上来的。是啊，十多年前的某一天，我们的父母用泪水和幸福的笑容迎接了我们的到来。但当我们来到世上的那一刻起，父母们却多了一项繁重的工作——照顾我们。尽管这是一种沉重的负担，但父母们却毫无怨言地抚养我长大。为了给我们一个舒适的生活环境，他们总是那么辛苦，那么努力。小的时候，我总把这当作天经地义，因为我不了解，也不知道父母的辛苦。现在，我长大了，我知道该怀着一颗感恩之心去体谅父母，应该担当起，照顾、孝敬父母的责任。

我们家在农村，抚养我和哥哥很不容易，更何况要送我们都读书。面对巨额的学费，父母咬牙坚持着，任生活的重担把他们的肩膀压弯，毫无怨言。

现在，我们都在外面学习或是工作，守着空空的房子，接电话就成了父母最快乐的事了。我们一个个打电话回去，父母乐滋滋地告诉其他几个的情况。我想，那也许是他们最幸福的时刻。

虽然远在他乡，离父母何止十万八千里，但是父母给的关爱还无时无刻的在我的身边围绕着，父母给我的无穷力量鼓励着我度过一个又一个寂寞时刻，他们始终是我精神的支柱。

生活并非想象中那样完美，父母的辛勤是我们无法体会的，我们虽不能与父母分担生活的艰辛、创业的艰难，但我们在生活上可以少让父母为自己操心。当父母生病时，我们是否应担起责任，照顾父母？要知道，哪怕一句关心的话语，哪怕一碗自己做好的方便面，都会慰藉父母曾为我们百般焦虑的心。感恩父母，并不难做到。
