Hello, everybody . My name is lucy , I'm eleven years old. I study in zhangshuping Primary School. I'm in Class one ,Grade five. I’m a quiet girl , but I like smiling . My hobby is writing . I am very happy every day. Now, Let’s share my happiness—— My happy day.
March 22nd was a special day. I was so happy , why? Was it my birthday? No, no. Did I get an A in my test? No, no, no.
But why was I so happy ? In fact , I was not so happy at first . In the morning, I had a terrible stomachache . Because I was ill , I didn’t go to school . But I didn’t kill the time . I wrote an article . Writing articles is my hobby . Writing articles can help me forget the time .
Before I knew it, My mother came home from work . “Lucy , Lucy, come , a piece of news for you! ” mother shouted. I didn’t see mom’s face , but her voice suggested that she was happy . She had good news for me . I ran quickly to her . I was glad to know that my blog article would be published . My article was “Yeah! I can get payment by writing articles now! ”What a surprise! My dream did come true so soon. In my article , I hoped to get RMB from my father .Now, I can get money from a magazine . I couldn’t believe it .“Mommy, is it true?” “Yes! Absolutely!”Mummy answered. Hearing the good news, Daddy said he would double my payment . “Oh! Goodbye my stomachache . I am so happy ! Mommy, I want to kiss you! ”

my sweet home
hi, everyone, my name is jia ruxin. i am from shijiazhuang and in grade 5. today my topic is “ my sweet home”.
there is an old saying “east and west, home is best.” so, we can see how important home is to everybody. i’ve got a sweet home because it is cozy. my family lives in a flat. the sitting room is the biggest and my room is the smallest, but it is a world of my own. the wall is white, the curtain is pretty, the bed is comfortable and the bookshelf is filled with different kinds of books. in the right hand corner is the zheng, a traditional chinese musical instrument, and on the table is the computer. when i feel tired, i can play computer games; and when i feel depressed, playing the zheng can cheer me up. this is my sweet home, where i can find peace and comfort.
i’ve got a sweet home because it is full of love. my dad loves me. he is kind and patient. it is my dad who watches outlook english magazine with me; it is also my dad who is ready to answer my questions. my mom loves me, too. she is considerate and hardworking. every day when i go home from school, the rooms are always clean and tidy. every time when i play out and forget dinnertime, it is also my mom who calls me back with her tender voice, “come home, my little darling, dinner is ready”.
this is my home, my sweet home.

俗话说：“东好西好不如家好。”从这句话我们可以体会到家对每一个人是多么的重要。我有一个甜美的家，因为我的家既舒适又安逸。我们住的是单元楼房。客厅是最大的一间。我的房间是最小的，但这里是我自己的天地：洁白的墙壁，精美的窗帘，温暖舒服的床和装满各种书籍的书架；在屋子的右手方向放着古筝，一种传统的中国乐器；在桌子上则有一台电脑。当我感到疲劳的时候，可以玩一会儿电脑；而弹奏古筝可以使我摆脱消沉。这就是我甜美的家，在这里我可以找到宁静和舒适。
我有一个甜美的家，因为它充满了爱。爸爸疼爱我。他既和蔼又有耐心。陪我一起看希望英语杂志的是我的爸爸，随时回答我提出的各种问题的也是我的爸爸。我的妈妈也爱我。她不仅考虑周到而且不辞辛劳。每天当我放学回到家里，房间总是既干净又整齐。每当我在外玩耍而忘记吃晚饭时间时，也是我的母亲用她那温柔的声音叫我：“宝贝儿，晚饭已经好了，快回家吃饭吧！”

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen:
When I was in the primary school, I have a dream. I want to invent a device which could bring you from one place to another in no time at all. When I was in the secondary school, my dream was to study in my ideal university. And when eventually I got into the university, my dream was to graduate.
How pathetic! When we grow up, we dream less And become more realistic. Why? Why do we have to change our dreams, so, so in order to let it be "fulfilled"? Why do we have to surrender to the so-called "reality"? What IS the reality actually?
Ladies And gentlemen, the reality is not real. It is a barrier keeping us from all the possible fantasies. Flying, for example, had been a dream to mankind for thousands of years. A hundred years ago, "man could not fly" was still regarded as the "reality". Now if that was really the reality, what did the Wright brothers do? How did some of you get to Macau? Only when we believe that the reality is not real can we soar with our dreams.
People say that our future is a battle between the reality And our dreams. And if, unfortunately, Mr. Reality wins this war, then I see no future of mankind at all. AIDS will never be curable as this IS the reality; People living in the undeveloped countries will suffer from starvation forever as this IS the reality; 4)Disputes among different countries would never be settled as this misunderstandings And intolerance IS the reality.
Ladies And gentlemen, how many of you have a dream of being able to make a lot of money? Please raise your hands. Oh, quite a number of you! Actually, ladies And gentlemen, this is not a dream, but a task. Every one of us has to make a living, right? Anyway I hope your task will be accomplished. How many of you think that you have already fulfilled your dream And that you don't dream anymore? Dear 5)adjudicators, what do you think? C.S. Lewis once said,"You are never too old to dream a new dream." So for our future, please dream And be unrealistic.
Now that I am a university student, my goal is to graduate with excellences. But at the same time, I have a dream deeply rooted in our future. One day, people living in the areas now 6)sweltering with the horror of wars will be able to sit with their families And enjoy their every moment. One day, people from the rich countries are willing to share what they have with those from the poor countries And those from the poor countries will eventually be able to make their own happy living themselves. One day, different cultures in this age of globalization will coexist with tolerance And the unfriendly confrontations among them will be 7)eliminated. One day, the globe will share the dream with me And we will all contribute to making our dream come true. One day, our dream will defeat the reality! Thank you very much.
